New Warning As Human Cases Of Deadly Mosquito Virus Grow In NJ
A new warning was issued as human cases continue to grow, and the deadly mosquito virus that infects the brain has expanded in NJ.
NEW JERSEY — Two new warnings about potential human infections of a deadly virus that’s associated with horses was issued New Jersey this past week, just as there’s evidence that it’s spread to 13 counties in the state and more humans are getting it (see list below).
Four human cases have been reported in New Jersey this year, according to the state Division of Fish and Wildlife – one more than what was reported about a month ago. It’s not clear where the newest case was diagnosed.
